If you're a regular reader, you've probably been wondering what happened to my anonymous blogging friend who was having job issues.  Thanks to you all for being supportive.  She's provided an update today.

Today I'm thrilled to have a guest post from one of my favorite bloggers.  I'd love to shout her name from the rooftops - but once you read the post, you'll understand why she's decided for today to remain anonymous.  I'm glad to be able to give her the outlet - and I hope that you'll lend her an ear - and some support.

What a Week - Ten Things of Thankful #99

Well - it's been quite a week.  On Saturday, I was in yet another car accident.  I'm OK.  Bae (who was also in the car) is OK.  It wasn't my fault - the other driver was charged with careless driving at the scene, but our car was badly damaged - and his car was totaled.  I've just found out that we'll be four weeks without our car - but the insurance has kicked in, and we have a rental.

On Monday, for various reasons, I had to have an ultrasound.  I knew at the time that something was wrong (although the technician isn't allowed to provide the results) but had to wait until today for the results.  I was able to wheedle partial results from the secretary - it isn't a "mass", but they found a "small" fibroid cyst.  I have an appointment to figure out where I go from here next week.

Since My Divorce...

You'll recall my post about my favorite Divorce Resources a few months back included one of my favorites - Since My Divorce with Divorce Coach Mandy Walker.  

She's a pretty amazing woman who has developed the online coaching program "My Divorce Pal" as a result of her own experiences with divorce and co-parenting after divorce.  At Since My Divorce, she's explored the Divorce Journeys of others - and weaves her own journey into the commentary at the end of each post.  She's written about facing her own fears about divorce and learning to trust herself again.

So last week was my very first #AAF Ask Away Friday.  I swapped questions with April from the 100 lb Countdown.  And truthfully...I was going to take a break for a month or so.  But while I was hopping through the #AAF blogs, I came across the lovely Jenessa Mullen from Mothering {In Real Life}.  Like me, Jenssa was also an #AAF virgin until last week.  And so we came together and this was the result.

Friday has always been one of my favourite days.  The start of the weekend.  Extra time with my kids.  Time to decompress and get ready for the next week ahead.

I've Been Nominated for a Liebster Award!

Well look at that!  I've been nominated for an award!!  And by not just anyone, but by one of my favourite bloggers, Lisa Thomson from Lisa Thomson Live.  She's literally written the book on leaving your marriage - "A Girls Guide to Leaving a Marriage"!

From what I understand, this award is for smaller blogs (like mine) and given to bloggers with less than 200 followers. The goal is to help others find these blogs that are very well written and truly worthy of a bigger following. In German “Liebster” means kindest, beloved, valued, and welcome.

Lessons Learned: How Divorce Changed Me - Guest Post

You may recall earlier this month I did a blog review on some of my new favourite Mommy Bloggers.  If you missed it, look here:  Blogger Reviews Part Deux - Mommy Bloggers!   Jessica Terry from 4 the Love of Mommy has graciously agreed to write a guest post for today's blog.

I am sure that if I look back at my first marriage that the warning signs were probably there. Before the kids came, before we ever walked down the aisle, I am sure if I looked hard enough, they were there.

Blogger Reviews Part Deux - Mommy Bloggers!

Today, I'm going to cover a disparate range of mommy bloggers who have caught my interest.  Lately, it seems like every day I'm stumbling across a new fantastic mommy blogger.  I'm drawn more to the "imperfect" range of mommy bloggers rather than the mommies who make cute crafts out of loo rolls and have perfect themed birthday parties and children who's diapers don't stink.  This week, these woman top my list of mommies who are able to blog about their who work with their "imperfect" lives and children in humorous, insightful and often inspiring ways.
