Book Review - Three-Year Olds are A**holes

Don't look for Pinterest type marshmallow fluff on Sarah Fader's blog Old School Mom/New School Mom.  She tells it like it is.  Which is why her HuffPost Article - Three-Year Olds are A**holes went viral with (as of today) almost 60K shares on Facebook.  It's a highly relatable piece to anyone who has ever had to deal with a threenager.

Sarah's new book, Three-Year Olds are A**holes (based on the HuffPo article) carries her satirical style in a story-telling format.  The book is a cross between a Robert Munsch book and Go the F*ck to Sleep.  With it's beautiful illustrations, it's a children's book for parents who are frustrated and feeling alone while dealing with the difficult stage that happens between their third and fourth birthdays.

In the book, little Samantha doesn't give a flying f*ck what her mom thinks.  She's determined to make a pretty rainbow - and she does - out of all the lovely and interesting things she finds in her mother's bathroom cabinet.  Her mother, bless her, has no idea what's waiting for her when the child wakes her from a sound sleep to show her what she's created.  And it only gets more fun from there.

I love Sarah's style - Samantha's mother comes across as a loving, yet frustrated mother who has no idea what's going on in her sociopathic three-year old's head.  Can you relate?

You can purchase Three-Year Olds are A**holes on Amazon - it's available in soft-cover or on Kindle - and makes a wonderful shower gift.  You can also check out Sarah's blog or follow her on Facebook or Twitter.
